At Joyous Smiles Humanitarian Foundation (JSHF), we believe that empowering women is the cornerstone of thriving communities. Through our Women’s Empowerment Project, we provide skills training, financial support, and business development resources to underprivileged women and widows—particularly in African countries—where systemic barriers often deny them self-sufficiency.

Our Impact (Aligned with UN SDG 5: Gender Equality)

Skills Acquisition: Training in tailoring, soap-making, and other trades.

Business Grants: Seed funding for women-led small businesses.

Essential Support: Assistance with rent, school fees, and feeding programs.

Over 500 Lives touched since 2018..

How We Empower Women

1. Skills Training for Financial Independence – We equip women with marketable vocational skills to break cycles of poverty.

2. Small Business Development – We provide startup grant funding for women to launch businesses (e.g., retail shops) while partnering with local entrepreneurs for guidance.

3. Crisis Support for Widows: Many widows face sudden hardship. JSHF steps in with counselling, providing emotional and legal support networks. We also provide emergency relief – food, rent aid, and school fee payments.

How Women Are Selected

We prioritize the most vulnerable through:

  1. Community Referrals: Partnering with local leaders and NGOs.
  2. Applications: Women submit requests via our network.
  3. Assessments: Interviews to verify needs and commitment.

Eligibility:

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn or grow a business.
  • Low-income women/widows with dependents.

Join us in cultivating joy, nourishing hearts and bringing hope – one smile at a time.
