We transform lives and build stronger communities
Our Projects

JSHF Women’s Empowerment Project
Many women and widows, especially in African countries, face diverse challenges such as feeding, house rent, and paying school fees for their children, just to name a few.
The Joyous Smiles Women’s Project focuses on empowering and improving the quality of life for these women by providing essential economic support in alignment with SDG number 5 (Gender Equality).
JSHF Nourish Project
In 2018, we had our first community event to nourish hearts with healthy food donations.
As is our custom, we nourish the hearts of our underprivileged women and their children who have no hope of their next meal by conducting quarterly food distribution events, thus contributing to putting food on the tables of many and helping to eradicate hunger, in alignment with SDG number 2 (Zero Hunger).

JSHF School Initiative Project
Education is a fundamental right, yet many children are deprived of this due to financial constraints. According to UNESCO, “Of all regions, sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rates of education exclusion. Over one-fifth of children between the ages of about 6 and 11 are out of school, followed by one-third of youth between the ages of about 12 and 14.
According to UIS data, almost 60% of youth between the ages of about 15 and 17 are not in school.” The Joyous Smiles School Initiative aims to reduce this number in our capacity by providing scholarships and educational materials to the underprivileged students. By ensuring that these children can stay in school, the initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education), promoting inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
